A Hotel in the Ziller Valley with Traditional Flair
For four generations, now, we've been providing our guests with the utmost in hospitality. Our hotel was founded in 1936, initially with only 24 beds. Since then, our family-run business has developed into a modern hotel in the Ziller Valley – the heart of Tyrol – with a high level of comfort and style. But at the same time, we still place great importance on tradition and thus also on making our guests feel completely satisfied and at home. In this respect, the hotel at times belonged to the innovative avant-garde: Long before interest in well-being and wellness had advanced to become a mass phenomenon, the hotel in Tux had been offering its guests unforgettable hours in the sauna and the whirlpool. In fact, it's been doing that since 1979.
In the year 2001, Martin Klausner took charge of hotel operations and commissioned the redesign and expansion of the hotel, thus ringing in a new era. The Klausner Family now offers its guests a completely renovated, top-quality hotel complex: 31 new and exclusive Rooms and Suites, an unparalleled Wellness Area, traditional Tyrolean lounges, a stylishly furnished dining room where we serve you gourmet meals, and a wine cellar with a wine-tasting room in which you can sample many a fine bottle of wine.
Our Own Alpine Hut
Surrounded by the magnificent Alpine landscape of Tux, situated at an altitude of 1,695 meters above sea-level, lies the Bichl Alpine Meadow, where the Klausner Family has its own mountain hut. The meadow can be reached from Hintertux in about 45 minutes. In the summer, it is the ideal starting-point for various hikes. In the winter months, the hut social evenings with subsequent tobogganing party are very popular with our guests – the course is about three kilometers long, and is illuminated at night.
Quality Guarantee – Farm-Fresh Products from Our Own Farmstead
Because the Klausner Family operates its own farmstead, it can offer hotel guests natural, high-quality products fresh from the farm. This includes our homemade yogurt, cream, buttermilk, and naturally pure raw milk.
