A Paradise for Tobogganing and Cross-Country Skiing
The Alpine huts on the Bichl Meadow and the Grier Meadow as well as the Höllenstein Hut are the starting-points for exciting tobogganing rides. At all of these huts, toboggans are available for rent – even though the way home after an evening of fun in a hut can prove difficult.
Cross-country ski enthusiasts will find perfectly groomed slopes in the Tux Valley. A 14-km-long classic slope will take you from Vorderlanersbach to Madseit; in Juns/Madseit, there's a 14-km-long skating course. The ski schools in the valley offer cross-country skiing instruction – and you can rent cross-country skiing equipment at all sports shops and sports equipment rental agencies.
