Our chef de cuisine Franz can look back on 43 years of experience in the Klausnerhof’s kitchen. This means that he knows how to spoil our guests – by every trick in the book.


The early bird catches the best flavour

Voarmass means breakfast in the Hintertux dialect. And it is quite a breakfast! From 7:30 until 10:30, the four star hotel Klausnerhof offers a lavish breakfast buffet which leaves nothing to be desired and gives you strength for your day in Zillertal. The offered products – from all-natural milk to homemade yoghurt – mainly come from our own agriculture. And are very tasty, believe us! And the delicacies continue throughout the day: In the afternoon from 15:00 until 17:00 we offer gourmet food at our house bar.

Fireworks for your taste buds

In the evening, chef de cuisine Franz Mariacher treats guests to a culinary delight: Together with his professional team he conjures a five-course menu, which truly proves that Klausnerhof is worthy of its four stars. He serves international as well as regional dishes, which not only succeed in satisfying your hunger but also in making you happy. Kids get to choose their favourite dish from their own children’s menu. Additionally, every Sunday there is an exclusive gala candle light dinner and culinary theme nights. Every now and then you will surely hear a deep, very satisfied sigh coming from our cosy Tiroler Stuben or dining rooms. This is no surprise, as the freshly prepared menus are accompanied by fine wine – which can, by the way, be enjoyed tasting area created specifically for this purpose. Magdalena Klausner, daughter of the house and professional sommeliere, is on hand with her expertise for gourmets.
